Album Review: Weezer (White Album) by Weezer
"Josh, didn't you say the Best of 1989 was coming up?" It is, yadda yadaa, I don't feel like making a list right now, sorry. Anyway, Weezer. I love these guys. The Blue Album is one of my favorite albums of all time. The majority of the stuff I've heard from them is good. Though I was disappointed with Hurley from 2010, outside of a couple great songs. I haven't heard Everything Will Be Alright In The End though. Maybe someday. For now, their fourth self-titled album. Not to be confused with a certain Beatles album. Is it good? Lemme see.

Billboard Hot 100 Highlights April 9th, 2016
Lukas Graham just missed the top spot. Phooey. Also Meghan Meghans is in the Top 10 again. Double phooey. Alright, but the rest of the charts are fine, right? Well, we'll see. There's only three new songs after all. HIGHLIGHTS TIME!

Album Review: Mind of Mine by Zayn
I have not been looking forward to this. Not that I think this'll be particularly bad, but I've honestly been unimpressed with Zayn's solo career so far. Even Pillowtalk has worn out its welcome, and I haven't even heard it that much. I honestly feel like he was better off in One Direction at this point; at least they started making some legitimately good stuff in 2013. But I digress. Let's see if the first solo album to stem from the biggest boy band of the decade does good things.
Also, I will not be listening to the deluxe edition tracks. If Zayn or his handlers or whoever thought they were important to the full product, they would have made it part of the main course. So my review ends at Track 14. If you really, really think I should review the last four tracks, let me know, maybe I'll do a follow-up on just them.

Album Review: I Came Up With A Clever Name For This Mixtape, But I Forgot It by Keenan Edwards
So this is different for me, isn't it? I don't ordinarily cover mixtapes for one, and I usually stick to artists in the mainstream. Instead, this time, I'm covering a mixtape from a friend of mine, who also happens to use the internet to talk about his music opinions. I will be covering Zayn's solo debut album at a later date, but first I wanna do something I'm likely to enjoy more. And Keenan, if you're reading this, don't worry I'll be nice. Le's go.
Also you can listen to it here if ya want.

Billboard Hot 100 Highlights April 2nd, 2016
Rihanna might have the top spot again this week, but I'm hearing speculation that Lukas Graham will overtake her pretty soon. And I'm okay with that, I love 7 Years. So bring on a new Number 1! Oh, and we also have a debut. Can Ariana Grande recover after Focus underwhelmed and underperformed? Guess we'll find out soon. HIGHLIGHTS TIME!

Billboard Hot 100 Highlights March 26th, 2016
Well, Mike Posner got his second Top 10 hit. And it only took him six years since the last one. At least it's pretty great. Unfortunately, a new Meghan Trainor single may hit the Top 10 soon, so we have that to look forward to. But we'll worry about that later down the line. For now, highlights time.

Album Review: untitled unmastered. by Kendrick Lamar
While the rest of the world was obsessed with this album, I was obsessed with Ninja Sex Party's cover album. What kind of music critic am I, right? Pfft. But really, I love Kendrick. He's everything Kanye West claims to be and more. And that's going off mostly To Pimp A Butterfly. Maybe one day I'll listen through good kid, m.A.A.d city. But for now, I'm listening to this. Basically an outtakes reel from TPAB that wound up being just as popular and critically acclaimed. Going into this, I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm set up for something great. Hopefully I'm not disappointed again.

Album Review: I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it by The 1975
That's a mouthful of a title, isn't it? Also you think someone who grew up with rock would review more rock albums. Again, Anthrax, you can release For All Kings on Spotify whenever you want. In the meantime, I'll give these guys a shot. I kinda know them because they briefly touched the Hot 100 a few months ago. And I heard a few of their songs on Guitar Hero Live. Seems right up my alley. And it just hit Spotify today, so I can't think of a better time to tackle it.

Album Review: Anti by Rihanna
Let me get this out of the way: I find the artwork for this album particularly ugly. Okay, now that we got that out of the way...I dunno. This wasn't an album I was particularly excited to listen through. The songs I've heard so far don't really impress me. But, who knows? I feel like this is the last big album from 2016 so far I have yet to cover aside from Kendrick (which I'll get to at some point). If there's any others I've missed, feel free to let me know. Okay? Okay. Now, here goes. Rihanna's latest album Anti.
Billboard Hot 100 Highlights March 19th, 2016
See? Told ya there'd be a change-up pretty soon. Not that anyone denied it, but anyway. Two new Top 10 arrivals, and one of them's a debut. Hello Kelly Clarkson, how've ya been? I've been okay. I don't know you. HIGHLIGHTS TIME.

Album Review: Under the Covers by Ninja Sex Party
I'm kind of a big fan of Game Grumps. And also these guys. That might make me a little biased going into this, but I don't care. March is looking like a dry month outside of a surprise Kendrick Lamar release (which I probably won't be listening to). So, whatever. I don't always have to review artists who are signed to a major record label after all. Make me proud, Danny. And yes, this is a cover album, so I'll only be judging these based on the quality of these versions. And I won't be judging these songs lyrically because that would be dumb.

Album Review: The Life Of Pablo by Kanye West
Kanye, I don't even know what to make of you anymore. I don't think I ever did. But man, you have an entertaining Twitter feed, so at least you got that going for you. But this album, man. The release of this album itself was just hilarious to watch unfold. I haven't heard a single Kanye West album in full before, so this is almost like going in blind to what to expect from him. Here goes. By the way, this isn't the redone version, at least I don't think, so keep that in mind.
Album Review: Nothing Shines Like Neon by Randy Rogers Band
I don't think I've made it a secret that country music isn't a genre I'm much of a fan of. Growing up, all the songs sounded the same to me. That's still kinda true, but I think I've frown to have some more appreciation for the genre. Anyway, that's why I'm listening to a country album. Well, that and Anthrax's new album won't be hitting Spotify anytime soon, due to Scott Ian's disdain for the service. Welp. Okay, country album a-go-go.

Billboard Hot 100 Highlights March 12th, 2016
For the first time in a while the Top 10 had a very uneventful week. But some interesting gains did happen below the surface. Expect a changeup in the Top 10 pretty soon. Maybe Adele finally falls below 10? Anyway, here's the highlights.
