Three weeks left. That's still hard to believe. That Billboard's year is almost over. But I guess the actual year is approaching fast. Hopefully we get a new number 1 before the end of the year, but at this point that's looking unlikely. Sigh. HIGHLIGHTS TIME!

New and Returning Entries Ranked

1. False Alarm

I knew this wouldn't stay gone for long. Thank God for the video. This is intense and wonderful. The best song I've ever heard from The Weeknd. The video's pretty awesome too. Please, please, please become a hit.

2. Dirty Laundry

Carrie Underwood doing what she does best. Being awesome. I feel like this could've used a guitar solo but other than that, this feels dangerous and probably is dangerous. Carrie's singing is great, the instrumentation and production is intense and brooding. This is my kind of country music. Looking forward to this rising.

3. Blow Your Mind (Mwah)

Judging by the title I was expecting something obnoxious. I'm sure some people do find it obnoxious, but I just find this wonderful. Bass heavy pop with a bit of a funk edge. Dua Lipa herself's got a great voice and presence. This whole thing is full of strenergy and good times. Hope this sticks around.

4. 80s Mercedes

I had heard snippets of this song before, and I'm glad it's finally on the charts. Yeah it's more pop than country, but it's good pop. Great bass and keys. The groove is awesome. And it's a song about a cool car. Even if the lyrics do have some nostalgia pandering. I would not object to this becoming a hit in 2017.

5. Goosebumps

At this point Travis should just make a video for this already. This is a hit waiting to happen and the falling out and in repeatedly is kinda disconcerting. Especially since this (as well as Travis Scott in general) has grown on me a lot in the past few weeks.

6. How I'll Always Be

It's country. Country stuff. Pleasant stuff and Tim McGraw sings real good. Real real good. I don't see myself really remember this, but it's real nice and uplifting. So I'm alright with it.

7. Why You Always Hatin?

I mean, it's one of the weaker tracks off Still Brazy, but I ain't complaining it's back. Even if Drake's verse is lackluster. I don't see this having much of a second wind though. Consider it was on the Hot 100 for around 4-5 months.

8. Alone

So this song is weird. I'm not sure why the vocals are mixed so low. I mean it's an EDM song so I guess they don't really matter, but bleh. The beat sounds alright. A little overwhelming and nothing really that special but alright. The music video has everyone bullying Marshmello then imitating him later because of his music. Okay.

9. My S**t

It's eh, but I will say this. I was expecting to hate this more than I actually do. It's actually pretty catchy. The lyrics are disposable though. A song about being in a club with a girl. Nothing special. Also a Chedda Da Connect reference? Why?

10. Lockjaw

So this is still returning. Okay. What happened this time? Ah well. I won't complain. Too much. Even though I should hate this song more than I actually do.

11. All Eyez

Well this still sucks. The jab at Future and Desiigner was fire, but other than that, nothing. The synths are badly produced, Jeremih is annoying, The Game isn't even remotely on the beat. Not Good/10.

12. Bad Things

Okay, I think this is supposed to be like All Eyes On You from last year. In that it's a weirdly aggressive rap love song. Camilla Cabello sounds freakin' awful here. The beat is mostly percussion and a lowkey piano melody. It's a mess. It thinks it's sweeter than it is but it's just bad.
