New and Returning Entries Ranked

1. Side To Side
Ariana's hot okay? This song's hot too. This is the tropical sex song we really deserve. It's got more style than All In My Head. Nicki's verse is just decent, but hey, the rest is fantastic. So I'll take it. (Also this is better than Greedy.)

2. OOOUUU
Lyrically pretty much a brag rap, but Young M.A actually has the confidence she needs to make it at least a little more interesting. But that beat, man. Those strings are gorgeous and make this song bumpin'. I dig it.

3. Famous
Okay, what happened this time? Kanye, you still causing controversy? You baller you.

4. Wyclef Jean
Hey this is actually decent. Though more of that is that guitar groove and island percussion than Young Thug himself, but he's still surprisingly good here. I don't know much Wyclef Jean, but I assume this song's sound is influenced by his style? Either way, it works for me. Nice job.

5. Scars To Your Beautiful
Sounds great and all. Synthy and bassy, it's all good. But lyrically, it feels tired and clichéd. "You're beautiful no matter what." That's kinda groanworthy at this point. So yeah, not really on board with this. Sorry, Alessia.

6. May We All
It's country. It sure is country alright. Nothing really special. I can tell Florida Georgia Line are trying to be mature here but it's just doing nothing for me. It's not even really that awful, just forgettable and a little irritating.

7. I Know Somebody
I never expected to see LoCash again. I didn't miss these guys. This is just a typical slice of bro country sleaze that I have no use for. Pass.

8. Grass Ain't Greener
Gratuitous autotune. A needlessly creepy beat. Charming. Also apparently Chris' side girl became his main girl. Whatever. Chris Brown sucks.

  1. I haven't listened to "Wyclef Jean", but it's called that because every song on Young Thug's "Jeffrey" album is named after someone who inspired his music (or something like that, I got this from TheDoubleAgent). For example, one of his other songs on that album is called "Harambe". Yes, the gorilla.

    1. I found out about this shortly after. I also listened to Jeffrey in its entirety and I liked it more than I thought I would.
