New and Returning Entries Ranked

1. It Ain't My Fault

Last heard these guys with Stay A Little Longer last year. And man, I love this. It's a rowdy country outlaw song with tons of energy and fun. Plus the music video has bank robbers dressed as Trump and Obama and probably some other politicians. Don't know what that's all about. Still, one of the best country songs that have charted this year.

2. Reminder

It's a single now I guess. But that happened over a month ago. Okay? Not sure why it's back. Whatever, I still like it.

3. Escápate Conmigo

Translates to "Escape With Me". And for a modern Latin rap song, it's...actually alright. The melody's light and bouncy, if a bit intimidating for some reason. I think this is supposed to be a love song, judging by the title. Not breaking any new ground, but I don't mind this.

4. Do I Make You Wanna

I'm a bit conflicted with this song. Part of me feels like it's bordering on being a little too sleazy, though it stays sympathetic throughout. Besides, the instrumentation is on point. I guess it's alright. Yeah, this shouldn't bother me too much.

5. 2U

I think I might need more time to develop an opinion on this. At the moment it feels like a remake of DJ Snake's Let Me Love You. That one worked for me better than this because the drop was softer. This one's more squanking and abrasive and not great. But the rest is okay. Probably a song I'm not gonna think about much despite it being a hit.

6. Love Galore

Not really feeling this one. I get that it's supposed to be sensual and kinda minimalist, but the warbling, out of tune synths don't sound very good. And the bassline is way too quiet. Also not a fan of the autotune and some of Travis' grosser lyrics. This is probably sexual to someone, just...not me.

7. It's A Vibe

I get from the title this is supposed to be a chill song, but it's not really doing anything for me. I guess the guitars are nice but they feel underdeveloped. And despite there being three guest artists on this, 2 Chainz's verse is the only thing in this song I'd consider an actual verse. The rest is basically just repeating the title over and over again, making me wonder what the point even is. Not a great vibe song. Or that good of a song either. Not terrible though.

8. What Ifs

You know...shouldn't this song be a duet? You got a female pop country artist and you don't give her a verse on a song about a relationship. Huge miscalculation. As is making this "country" song synthetic and poppy as hell. The bombast really makes both Kane's and Lauren's performances grating. Can't say I will be returning to this.
