66. Still Got Time by Zayn ft. PARTYNEXTDOOR

New and Returning Entries Ranked

1. The Heart Part 4

I hadn't listened to before, but I have listened to HUMBLE. Anyway, this was worth the hype. When Kendrick flexes, boy does he flex. The beatwork is hypnotizing and varied. Kendrick is engaging throughout. The perfect Kendrick comeback track, and it's got me hyped for that new album this week.

2. Scared To Be Lonely

Still got some fight left in it? Or is it just teasing me. Probably the latter. At least it did return a little higher than it usually does.

3. Prblms

This has grown on me since it first hit the charts. I got used to the production this time, and I can really feel the vibe this time around. Looking forward to more from 6LACK.

4. Black

Glad to see this back too. For the third time I think.

5. You're Welcome

Moana hype still going strong I see. Not that I mind.

6. Speak to a Girl

Sweet country duet. Got its heart in the right place and the instrumentation is pleasant. Not something I see myself revisiting often, but it's nice. I don't mind this.

7. Yeah Boy

Still disappointed. Bland and boring for pop country. I miss Peter Pan...

8. Good Drank

Uh huh. Uh huh. Uh huh. Uh huh. Stop.

9. Still Got Time

Okay, hold on. How the hell is Zayn the lead artist here? This is clearly PARTYNEXTDOOR the entire time. Genius can't convince me otherwise. Other than that, the song is boring. The production is crap and PND is a non-presence on this. It's a drunken slurry of a tropical song. Completely bland and forgettable.

10. XO TOUR Llif3

Normally I keep from swearing on this blog, but fuck that title. Just...no. I will say, the song wasn't /as/ bad as I was expecting. Still terrible, but at least Uzi has some decent flows here. When he's not mumbling and drunk slurring all over the place. He's also trying for some dark imagery with the "all my friends are dead" hook and I don't buy it. Pass.
